Sujit Choudhry: Founding the Center for Constitutional Transitions

There are many forms of government in our world today. There’s monarchy, which is reserved to the royals; there’s socialism and communism, which often portrays a negative light especially for Western nations; and then there is democracy, which is labeled as the “best” form of government in the 21st century. Some nations who wanted to adapt democracy is having a hard time figuring out where to begin, so they seek the help of professionals who would assist them in changing their constitution.

These professionals have the knowledge with international relations and law, and one of the most well-known professional for the job is Sujit Choudhry. Sujit Choudhry established the Center for Constitutional Transitions, which aims to assist governments in changing their constitution. They oversee the entire process, and see to it that every procedure is correctly followed. The organization is also responsible for spreading information to the public, stating the advantages and disadvantages of each form of government and giving them an insight as to how they will be affected by a constitutional change.  Hop over to for a related article.
